We are incredibly excited to announce the first ever Region B Conference to take place on Friday, September 22nd, in Washington, D.C. Our membership team, together with representatives from Booz Allen, have been working very hard putting together this event for y’all and we are very excited to see everyone there! Please note that this is a Regional Conference; for more information about the oSTEM Annual Conference in Anaheim, CA, please visit our official website - [link].
Registration is now open to all student members from Region B, as well as members from neighboring states such as Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and North Carolina. Registration is free and includes lunch and refreshments; however, transportation and potential lodging costs are up to each attendee. Please see the registration page for more information regarding travel aid.

Location
This year's Regional Conference will take place at The Helix, Booz Allen's Center for Innovation, located in Washington, D.C., just a few blocks away from the White House.
Among the various experiences offered at The Helix, you can experience The Rotunda, the AI Adoption Studio, the Virtual Center, and the Digital Library.

Keynote Speaker
Nikita Washington (She/Her)
Sr. UX Designer @Ally | Board Member | Public Speaker
Nikita Washington is a Senior UX Designer and Founder. Beyond the digital products she’s shipped, Nikita is an active member within her communities and is often found speaking on panels, giving conference talks, and being a featured guest on podcasts to discuss experience pivoting from education to design as a Black woman of Trans experience.
Nikita serves on the leadership team with Out in Tech, the world’s largest non-profit community of LGBTQ+ tech leaders and is a community advisory board member with Trans Tech Social Enterprises whose mission is to empower, educate, and employ those facing barriers in education and in the workplace, as well as to reduce instances of discrimination, with a concentration on trans and gender nonconforming individuals.
Her design advocacy work is centered on championing early-career and underrepresented folx, helping them break into the world of design and demystifying an often gate-kept industry.
